Chargers worked on Wildcat offense to get used of the formation

On their Tuesday practice, the San Diego Chargers spent some time on experimenting with the Wildcat offense, and their purpose was to get used to facing the trendy formation.

The Chargers experimented to have LaDainian Tomlinson behind center, with wide receiver Legedu Naanee on his flank. They also implemented several variations within the Wildcat, including passes and deceptive rushing.

This was not the first time the Chargers have experimented with the run-centric formation, but they never used it in a game. Coach Norv Turner said that they practiced the Wildcat offense just to show how they could handle it offensively and from a defensive prospective as well.
