Titans top draft pick Britt ws placed on active PUP

The Tennessee Titans’ top draft pick Kenny Britt got a sore hamstring during training camp, and he has been put on the physically unable to perform list.

Britt just reached an agreement Saturday night on a five-year deal worth a little more than $12 million with the Titans. He was just 10 miles away, so he was in camp Sunday.

But after team officials checked out the former Rutgers receiver, they found that the hamstring has not been completely healed. So Britt had to walk out for his first practice with a slight limp and watched his teammates working without him. But he still wears his practice nfl jersey even not in practice.

According to coach Jeff Fisher, it is still unsure about how long Britt will stay on the list. At the moment it is estimated that it may take up to a week. If so, that would mean that Britt will be out of the Titans’ preseason opener Aug. 9 in the Hall of Fame game against Buffalo.
